Does anyone know of a AIO that actually has some cutting power? I purchased the blackfire total polish and seal and I'm not sure if it has any cutting at all.

xmt360, poorboys w/ sealant are some i know of

I was thinking about getting those two and then I saw a review by BobbyG and I was like I gotta get blackfire tp&s have you used any of those two?

:iagree:

In terms of cutting ability from the Meg's lineup D151 is a few notches up from M205.

Mike made an awesome thread comparing some of the popular SMAT compounds. It sort of helps to visualize the aggressiveness of D151 with some of the other popular Meg's compounds and polishes.

Thanks for the link! Looks like I'll be using blackfire total polish and seal on newer cars and D151 on older cars, does that sound reasonable?

Do you use it?

Of course i do. Got a gallon of it. LOVE it. It's my go to AIO. I've used Opti GPS, Opti Poly-seal, XMT360, DG501/601 and DG105/601. I always come back to D151. Minimal dusting and cut pretty well for AIO

Optimum GPS will cut with a MF pad. I know because I have red tinted clearcoat and my white MF buffing pad turns red with this combo.

Blackfire Total Polish & Seal incorporates a very fine abrasive that works on "light swirls" and is more of a cleaner but does a nice job.

Meguiar's D151 does an amazing job correcting minor surface defects. It's abrasives are much more aggressive than those used in Blackfire's Total Polish & Seal product. Now when I say much more, don't go away with the impression that Meguiar's D151 sands the finish because it doesn't...it does work very well!

Will you be topping this with a sealant or wax? The reason I ask is you might be better off using a dedicated polish like Menzerna Super Finish PO106 FA. This polish achieves stunning results leaving the finish bright, clean, and glossy, ready for a sealant or wax...

Duragloss 501 is another 1-step product that corrects as well as leaving a sealant behind.

Appy Duragloss #501 with a DA or rotary and minor swirls are gone and you have 6 months of protection. It's also rediculously cheap.

D151 or Poorboys Polish with Sealant both have cut.

Here is a 50/50 shot with D151 on my PC with an orange pad. Speed 5.

Thankyou guys! Looks like I'm gonna get D151 on my next order :)

I love D151 and DG501. I combine both on a mf cutting or finishing pad and have had fantastic results.

I did a jeep with xtm 360 and it did a great job.

I would have to agree I used this 360 for the first time last week and the results were pretty amazing. I was very surprised when I used apc to get a confirmation that the product actualy corrected rather than fill and cover. I am going to try the d151 as it is pretty inexpensive and alot of my customers are to cheap to pay for a full correction. Can the duragloss be used on cars as well?

Yes, many of us use it all the time on cars.

This just shows me I clearly need to work on my technique, I can't get these awesome results from 360. That's for showing us what it can accomplish:props:

What pad/s did you use? It really looks great!
