I am looking for a company that I can buy large amounts of detailing products, mainly a final touch or a waterless wash product that I can put my company logo on and sell to clients with a microfiber towel to use in between details or washes in the event of bird droppings, gas spills or any other similar situations. I think it will be a great way to make some extra cash and at the same time I can get my clients to be more involved (Wishful thinking) in keeping their vehicles kept in good condition. And at the same time I can keep my company name in front of them.

Does anyone know of a company that I allows re-branding of their products?

You can email me at [email protected]

Thanks!

Chemical guys they have few eco-friendly products and they do offer private labeling.

Usually to private label they have a large minimum order and the setup fees are huge too.

Think if it were me I'd talk to a large reseller ( like Autogeek) to buy case lots of products you want, invest in some decals to stick on bottles and do it that way. :xyxthumbs:

I like this idea, but not sure if I want to run the risk of any law suits should it come back to me some how.

How would you get a law suit by placing a decal on a bolttle? Now if you totally covered the label that would not be good. I'm saying just to place a advertising label some place on the bottle so they and others can see where it came from. It's not like people can run down the the local X- Mart and buy rinsless wash. As long as you don't cover important parts of the bottle you should be fine I'd think. You would never want to re-label it.

That is exactly what I am trying to do. Re-Label a good product. I'm not trying to sell anyone the NEXT GREAT PRODUCT, just something that they can keep in the car in the event of a minor need for a clean up. It would really just be something in the car with my phone number, web address, and logo. But at the same time I can educate on the need to remove things like bird droppings right away and they can use my (Re-labeled) products and a microfiber with my logo on it.

OH! That's just wonderful advice...No Trademark infringement there...JEEEZIE PETE!!!

Yeah...I don't see how on earth AG could possibly ever find out.

When you receive the cease & desist (C&D) letter, with a law firm's name emblazoned upon it, for: Trademark Infringement...then......

C'mon, OP...Think this through man!!

I came up with a saying along time ago. Maybe you've heard it?

'It takes money to make money'

Keep us posted what the cost will be

:)

Love this quote. We all know it but very few are willing to live by it. It's one of the reasons we are living in this bad economy.

Spend more, Live More!!!! <<< That is my quote!

Read my next post! I just MENT for him to put an identifying sticker on it and clarified it in my next post! NOT RE-LABLE IT!

He will fall over when he finds out what a private lable product will cost. I really doubt there is enough profit in selling a few bottles to his customers To justify the expense.

??????

It is misleading to cover the label with your own and is also legally an issue.but why not just tell the customer what they need and why or see if you can become a authorized dealer providing you have the right business info.

What about just a small sample size of a quality quick detailer, rolled up MF and your business card rubberbanded together. Give it to people who get a full detail or something. They could keep it in their glove compartment or behind the seat in case of a mishap and now they always have your business card with them.

3 Vans out daily with each van doing 3 - 5 details a day. I think I'll at the very least break even but being able to have my own (Labeled) product in 9 - 15 cars a day means I will have a great retention percentage. But I think at the right purchase I can turn a nice ROI on this investment. Just gotta find the right company with good product.

I don't want to put a sticker over anyone's product. I want to have my own product without having to have my own product. I want to buy lager drums of someones product and put it into my own bottles and have my logos on it with that companies permission of course.

I do this now, but it doesn't have a PRO feel to it. I want to do it to where I can make money and eventually have my own product. Gotta build a following somehow. It may take years but its my goal.
