I gotta do the headlights on a dodge ram, and its got these domes about the size of baseballs that stick out on top of the rest of the lens. Hard to describe. Any tips on how to effectively sand these, particularly when I'm at the dry sanding grits? I'm using 3" sanding discs on a drill..... I really gotta fork out the $100 for the little Griot's.

Check these out! They help out and give you some "cushion"

Thanks for posting this item A.P.A.D., will add to my next order.

Also may find something useful here that will save you the $$$ of buying the mini griots.

I use the tool that comes with the Meguiars headlight kit if wetsanding is needed. Your discs should fit.
