I just got the email about the Flex DA sale being extended till midnight tonight and plus it's now got a 25' cord. I wanted to get one in 2 weeks when I am in Florida, so I can bring it back duty free. How can I order this WITHOUT IT SHIPPING RIGHT AWAY! This is a deal breaker, so I need to know how and be guaranteed it won't. Hopefully Meghan is on today and can chime in.

If it were me I would just call Max at home. You do have Max's home telephone number don't you?
 
Technically, if you pick the unit up in Florida, you will be required to pay state sales tax

If the bill to address is not Florida, but it gets shipped there, is that different? That might cause me to get it elsewhere out of Florida and ship it there when I'm down there.

Look Richy,

The thing to do is pay for the unit and have it shipped to me. I will then forward it to you in time for Christmas, thus you will get the discount AND not pay sales tax

Are you going to South Florida?
 
I would order it and under comments have it held for customer pick-up.
 
Yes you will have to pay tax if shipped to a Fla address, and there is no huge rush, you can call Nick tomorrow.

Do you have someone in the states that you can have it shipped to...then have them ship it back to you in Florida while you are there? It depends on how long your going to be in Florida...and if you'll be at an address that it can be shipped to.The freight wherever they send it will be free. Obviously you will have to pay the freight back to your address in Florida...but you will save the duty fees.
Or you could have someone order and pay for it...then ship it to you in Florida and you pay them through Pay Pal...
 
I guess that would cost as much as the money you would save on the tax. lol Easier to go ahead and pay for it... pay the sales tax and have them keep it there until you get there...
 
I think I've got it figured out. I'll call Nick tomorrow.
