First, I didn't mean to offend. I was just a bit confused.
I can understand you didn't mean to speak in a negative or demeaning manner and I know that based on your past comments but that is not what I thought your intent was. My interpretation was that you had some reservations about 3M products.
The experience I've had is that many people can vary in their attitudes substantially based on the topic. Other's who have posted to me could have used the very same words and intended those words to convey sarcasm.
IMO, if I'd responded to the post I made I would have said: "I'm not surprised, 3M has a good chemists and they have a lot of good products." That's much less ambiguous.
