Glass polishing

I've seen a few posts of people using 105 with some success soooo I thought id give it a shot. My rear passenger windows both have some pretty bad scratches from dust and dirt getting stuck in the little felt looking strip on the window. I broke out the 105, the makita, and a 4in white pad. It did nothing... not a dent in the scratches at all.... no go...the glass was sure smooth though and the one scratch I could feel I wasn't able to catch with a nail anymore but looks wise I saw no noticeable change. I also didn't venture above 4 on the makita cuz above that just seems like its goin mach 10 !!! In regular lighting and even sun the scratches are bearable I guess but in the halogens they are ridonculous! Here are some pics to compare. Kinda makes me wonder also, you can make a trashed car look good with the right angle and light....
So what are some products that may actually correct this knowing 105 didn't touch it?

this was my write up about polishing glass. you really need to have the glass polishing pads. also, the Duragloss NuGlass is an awesome product as well.

Thank you both I think I'm definitely going to invest in some glass polishing pads and prob the ceriglass to actually correct the scratches

I have used the Zaino stuff before but only by hand and not to remove scratches just for cleaning, I remember it did work well though and smelled like mint I believe!
