Want to use APC and APC+ to clean out door, engine, and trunk wells and wanted some quick feedback as to whether either or both will strip 4*UPP I recently applied to the car?

Safe? Not?

I intend to clean with either, then apply selaant to the wells for ongoing shine and ease of cleaning.

Thanks for the advice.

It will degrade it, but I don't think it will fully strip it. If you are just using this on your jambs, it'll be safe. Just do a wipe down with a damp MF towel to make sure any residue isn't left behind.

David doors and door jambs I use a waterless wash. You can use a quick detailer also. Again this is all dependent on how soiled it is.

Good point...I've got some Ultima that I will use...thanks

I've gotten good results on those areas (door, engine, trunk wells) using Klasse AIO. Gets 'em nice and clean; leaves a decent amount of protection.

I use rinseless wash then spray wax, looks good.

Its all about if its agitated or not. If it just wash's down the panel on a rinse I dont think it will effect it much.

I put a coat of WGDGPS and a coat of Pinnacle LS on mine. Unfortunately not all surfaces are shiny to begin with of course, but where they are it's like glass now. People are always surprised by that. I wonder how long these sealants will last on those protected surfaces.
