Like the horrible My Ford Touch system? My wifes system is so glitchy. It is one of the reasons I didn't get the new explorer. Nothing like $42K for a car with a system that crashes constantly. The bumpers falling off and water leaks didn't help either. LOL

That might just be spare parts bolted on so the car is functional. Plus it was missing a lot of pieces of the dash. Dont judge it based on those photos. Ford has been doing a great job with its car redesigns recently ( Focus, Fusion, Escape ), I will give them the benefit of the doubt they will make a sweet next gen stang.

( This is coming from a Corvette owner also ).
 
CALM DOWN!! If you know anything about car body makeovers they use mules to test technology, parts etc. this is a s197 body style being used for just that. They will cobble stuff on it to test it but they won't show us the complete car for awhile yet

My biggest thing is, like mentioned earlier, I want to look at it and know ITS A MUSTANG! I like this concept drawing better than others I've seen that make it look "Euro".

Try Car and Driver then.

The GT500 smokes the ZL1 in the 1/4 mile and has better lap times than the ZL1 by the smallest of margins. I did not that the GT500 was lost a second by the third lap over it's first lap but.........

Just shows the GT500 is every bit and fast on the track and a killer at the strip.

Both are great builds.
 
I can't wait to see what they come up with for the 50th anniversary edition.

All cars today have some sort of bluetooth system anyway. Look at audi,lexus,dodge, etc. Ford is in great position as they were one of the first to create the system.

Yeah, I just hope they don't go with the whole new "EVO" concept design.. :nomore:

Yeah, lets just hope they nail it! I've been keeping some money stashed for one of these 50th anniversary editions!:drool:

I agree, they are changing it when it already is a top scoring car among consumers.. Also, my dad said he can get 25MPG's out of his '12 GT, so that's pretty good for a sports car with a V8.

I also agree that the retro is better. I always say you can have retro, that is upgraded with modern science and engineering.

As for the Lincolns, I used to be a huge Lincoln fan, but I just look at them now and can't seem to convince myself to like them.. This is the path I fear Ford will take with the Mustang.
 
Looks exactly the same. I'm tired of that body style. The camaro looks much better.
 
The Mustang is going international with the next body style. While I love the look and feel of it now, they're going to have a wider market to cater to and will have to adjust for that.
 
Glad that Ford is finally putting IRS in the Stang. As to the interior, I think that it will change significantly before we seen photos of the actual 2015.
