Considering dg501 for dd

White pad works pretty well for really light swirls?

Dg501 is a paint cleaner, it does have some abrasives in it but not eggresive enough for swirl removal.

if you have some light swirls try your white pad with a polish ie: m205 or opt polishII
or what ever you have.

When working with dg501 how often do u clean the pads on the fly and how often do u typically need to add more product to the pad?

Cleaning 501 out of the pad is a bugger. Use a few pads to finish the car, then clean them at the end. Soak them in solvent for a few hours then wash out with Dawn or a strong cleaner. Use it like any polish as you go along. You don't need a lot.
