Carnuba Paste Wax: Who Still Uses It?

Yes - and I don't use them as a topper, I use them as stand-alones :)

Thanks Troy! What a stellar individual you are! Thanks buddy!

Chemical Guys butter wax just because I love waxing a truck

You sure?

Sure! It is a "cream" if you really want to get technical, but most people would not consider it a "true" paste wax. I personally would not consider it a paste.

You sure?
It's a liquid carnauba wax. If you turn it upside down and it pours out at room temperature, it isn't a paste.

I still use carnauba wax. I only use it on my garage queens and for customers who prefer wax. DD get sealants.

i use it on top of sealant. Im not a pro, just an enthusiast. I think it looks a little better, and gives me an excuse to rewax every week or 2.

I use Max Wax over the polyseal, and doubt I'll change my ways.

If anyone reads this thread and is thinking...

"Man, what am I doing? There is new technology that is coatings, why am I still doing old school/old technology paste waxes, I have to get rid of it and get me some EXO/Cquartz/OC, so instead of waxing every month, I can just coat once a year"

Just send me a PM and I'll reply with an address where you can send your unwanted waxes, I'll help you dispose of them free of charge

I still use my Griot's nuba stick and just received another can of BF midnight sun nuba, I'll always have nuba in my collection somewhere, nice to change the look of the car from time to time. After using all these modern products that produce the fake or plastic look, its nice to reach for some depth when and if you want/need to. Doing cars on the side you always wanna give the customer options and with nuba, you can do just that.

We're going to use the paste version of M26 tomorrow night. This wax has been around for 30+ years...

Look to the left side of the picture, you'll see the liquid version on top of the paste version.
