Came out to this after work last night!

Got hit with some more last night, not like in the OP but enough and you know what, I guess I'm not that observent....powerlines, I missed it and now have moved my parking spot. I've parked there before w/o a problem. I used my ONR/DP rinseless wash made into QD w/ KSG infused to wipe the car down and then applied a coat of KSG too, you can never be too safe or have too much protection!

Well the first thing I'd do is get my wheel out and start with my least aggressive polish and try and remove the etching.

I used meguiars ultimate compound by hand yesterday on the bird etching. It came out but just found out this morning I still have some of the compound from last night. I guess I missed it. I was working during the evening and didn't realize there were still some left on the hood. What do you guys suggest I do to get it off? Will quick detailing get it off?

Quick detailers usually get most dried up wax/compounds off, isn't Meg's UC an awesome product! Thanks for sharing that you used it by hand and it worked, appreciate that.

no problem.

When I first tried Meg's UC on the fresh bird dropping it didn't get it off actually. I only tried it with one pass though. I washed my car yesterday and the bird etching was very visible so I used Meg's UC again but tried a bit harder and used a white microfiber applicator pad instead of the green one. I did it until the product was dried and use Meg's Quick detailer on the applicator and used some more UC and it came off.

The Meg's UC was the only thing I had so I used it haha.

Did the etching come out?

Do you mix QD and KSG together ? What is the combination ? Sounds like a good mixture. Love the Klasse twins.
I can't leave my car in the driveway anymore. My wife is a bird and squirrel feeder. Peanuts have gotten into my blower fan twice and also as far as my air filter. Shells only. I leave the windows UP even in the garage.

This works very good for me:

-For a "Quick Detail Spray"...Meg's UQD/Klasse HGSG @ 8oz:1/2oz ratio (~6:1)

-For a "Detail Spray Wax".....Meg's UDW/Klasse HGSG @ 8oz:2oz ratio (4:1)

:)

IIRC you add 1-2 oz per gallon of rinseless QD mix but for exact ratio I bet you'll find it (not trying to be search police but wanna give you a more accurate ratio) I love this combo!
