Last wheel cleaned with DUB wheel cleaner and tire scrubbed with Bleache-White.

The key to a clean engine on a DD...easy, clean as you go. Using a used mf towel from cleaning the car, clean as you go

About an hour later and I feel much better. The car is clean, tires, wheels and wheelwells all cleaned out, jams wiped down and engine bay given a swipe. Now the car sits till Monday morning where the road will probably be wet from the 6" on snow forecasted for tonight and on into Sunday, oh well, I feel better cleaning a 2 week old dirty car

Dude, what happens to the microfiber towel you used for this? Rinseless wash towel became engine towel? How do you keep track of it from here on out?

Trust me when I say this but what I touch with those in the engine bay is never dirty, the car is dirtier than the air box and pipes, so it's all good. When it is time for an through engine bay cleaning I have separate towels for that. When you clean as you go like I do with the engine it just doesn't get dirty, doesn't get a chance to.
I must also credit the new Mothers Back to Black aerosol for keeping my engine bay looking good, makes clean up a snap because it doesn't attract dust...but then again I clean as I go, meaning when the car is washed the engine hits get a swipe.

This isn't my ride but I thought it was a trip seeing this miniature monster trunk driving around the neighborhood earlier while I was getting a bite to eat.

I wish it was a shorter story. Here are some of the details,.
Got longtubes headers installed at a local shop Friday am
They sounded amazing
didn't make it home (15 minute drive)
headers were apparently touching the clutch cable
clutch cable melted and fluid and smoke went everywhere
luckily I was on non busy road and I coasted in a local Baskin Robbins
we tried to repair the clutch line in the parking lot but we could never get pressure on the clutch
the shop guy had his buddy meet us Sunday and that is the photo.
He said today they have finished replacing the clutch line properly but the master cyclinder won't bleed
There is apparently a recall on that part so he is getting a replacement hopefully tomorrow
on a plus side they sound awesome!!
