Off topic a bit but is Ford buying your car back? If so, they should give you top dollar

Honestly i wasn't aware of the buyback program until you just mentioned it. Looks like the deadline was October 6th so I'm SOL on that one.

I do plan on buying another car within the next couple years, not sure on make and model as of yet, but definitely something with a bit more power lol.

You should call them anyways, can't hurt. That Powersh!t transmission is really garbage apparently

Hello everyone. Was a long time since last I posted. Lost interest with the Kia cee'd I had as it had a lot of defects. So I just barely made it look presentable LOL. Where very happy with Polish Angel Master Sealant topped with PA High Gloss.

A couple of weeks ago I finally traded the Kia. Got me a Hyundai i40 1.7L turbo diesel with a DCT transmission 2016. So it's the size over the Kia cee'd and Hyundai i30. The compareble and same platform is the Kia Optima. Got the roof repainted so waiting a month or so before I apply any protection there. Started this weekend with applying a domestic brands SiO2 Glass Coating on the windshield. And applyied Soft99 Glaco Mirror Coat Zero on the side mirrors and to the backing camera lins. Will be useing products that I already have. Maybe I even go with some test panels over the winter months here in Sweden.

Some pictures on the new to me Hyundai i40!

Thanks guys!

I made a little update in the thread you did DMiglio. Have gotten the motivation back and will be here again.

You are awesome people everyone! I'm humble over being missed here. A lot of fun now to catching up on the detailing scene.

It goes to show what an impression you've made on our community. This forum really brings the world into the palm of our hands (in my case anyways) For DMiglio to start that thread actually tells about him as well as you

Doesn't say much about his pizza affiliation though..............:laughing:

But seriously, David is as cool a member as we have here. :xyxthumbs:

Appreciate it guys! We’ve definitely got a strong online family here at AGO!

The exception being PaulMys :xyxthumbs:

Did you go out for a little ride after the install D? If so, how are they?

Nothing long, just a short drive over to football practice. Rode smooth and quiet. Looking forward to snow to test out the AWD with winter tires!

Took the big Falcon out to stretch her legs this morning. While the XR8 hammers when required, I love just hitting a long straight road, letting the prodigious torque do work by just rolling into the throttle. The combination of the exhaust and supercharger wine under load in a taller gear is just as intoxicating as a full throttle blast.
