C5 Corvette polished aluminum deep dishes

I coined this term around 2003 when I put Focus SVT rims on my 2000 Contour SVT and it's this, "Factory Aftermarket". So its basically OEM rims from another model from the same companyCan't see it but did you put the Poncho logo on the centercaps?

No, they are just blank. I don't really care for that look to much

Thanks, ya I love it. Pretty wicked color in different lights. It helps that the thing has been polished to all hell lol. That picture above is done in Cquartz U.k and Cquartz SiC.

This picture is after I jeweled/ burnished the paint with a rotary and coated it with Kamikaze Zipang.

That thing looks wet af lol, nice job!

The best thing about taking the flash car to work is the drive home after a long day.

New, and much easier to clean, wheels for the Mustang!

Plan is to have the tires mounted and then ceramic coating them.

DFB...THANK YOU for replacing those wheels! The OEM style is ok but replacing Gloss black is always an upgrade. Now you'll have a wheel that you'll not only see the style much better but will be easier to clean! I can't wait to them mounted up

I grew to like those wheels, although I never loved them. It would be amusing to know how much time over the last four years I have spent cleaning/detailing those suckers.

I'm also looking forward to replacing the junk OE Pirelli's with some Michelin PS4S's.

Everything is better about the new rims but the change in the look will be the biggest difference. I had Pirelli's on the Abarth from the factory and at about 5500 miles they were wearing badly (not because of my right foot either) Your going to love the Michelins without a doubt

New wheels look nice, although I happen to like the gloss black wheels a lot. Wouldn’t want to maintain them, though.

Hope they won't be low profiles.

What color lugs?

Those will look tasty. What's the wheel and tires specs?

What color lugs?

These wheels are from Ford Performance. They come in a few different widths up to a 19x10.5 & 19x11 setup, I went for something a touch more conservative, 19x9.5 front and 19x10 rears, which represents a 0.5 increase at both ends.

For tires, I'm going with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in the standard 255/40/19 front and 275/40/19 rear. Now this might seem like a pointless exercise to end up with the same size tire however my main goal was not for more rubber, but something different looking....................and easier to clean! At the moment, I faced with a two week wait for the tires to be in stock.

I'm going to see what my current chrome lug nuts will look like, although I strongly suspect I will be spending more money in the near future on some black ones.
