I have been doing some daily driving in the XR6 for the last few weeks. Has not been washed in 35 days so it's covered in a few layers of dust.

Love the looks of that car and like my EN I don't think I'd swap out THOSE OE rims either

I love those wheels, they were a $1000 option back when I ordered the car in 2008. These are also machine faced, adding extra depth to their design.





Standard wheels on the FG XR6 were these rather ho-hum 17'' items -





The other cost option for XR's were these plain looking 19" wheels -

Now see those other optional wheels, the 19" 5 spokes, may be "plain" but there's beauty in simplicity, those look amazing and I've never seen them before Those standard wheel are Zzzzzzzzz....

Speaking of wheels, the podcast I'm on next has a large segment on rims, hope you check it out and tell me what you think, all of you out there infact

I noticed when I use the higher resolution setting in my Motorola, the pics look worse in Tapatalk, so I use the middle, recommended, setting, results in less "pixelating" of the straight lines, of which there are many on the FJ.

One of my favorite debates regarding vehicles is the “wheel” vs “rim” name debate. Lol! I’ll look for the podcast. Do you know the episode number you’ll be on?

It should drop in a couple weeks. I've been on about 8 episodes over a 2.5 year span.

I usually say rims, sometimes wheels but when it comes to that lump under our hoods, it's an engine, NOT a motor, motors are when referring to EV's
