Just posting a few pics of some that I finished recently. Been super super busy and haven't had much time to post up any recent work. Just going to post most of the afters.

Enjoy.

What the paint looked like before getting started:

And then what it ultimately finished down to:

The white Zr1 received the same treatment.

Interior had a ton of white discoloration from daily use:

Some old wax from a previous careless detailer:

Clean behind the ears:
179168_325621310864006_1934741208_n.jpg

This Grand Sport was pretty soiled and a lot of the crevices carried heavy dirt inside them.

The result:

Another spot where dirt loves to build up on vettes:

Not on my watch:

Just a shot of some ONR pre-soak to help break down and carry away the dirt with out marring the finish:

Sorry about that!

ONR wash on all of them
Clayed using the speedy prep towel
D300 w/ Megs MF cutting disk on the Zr1's followed by D301
D301 w/ Megs MF polishing disk only on the Grand Sport, Firehawk, GXP, SS (previously cleaned and polished so these were maintenance for the same owner)
Showroom FX white pearl on the tires
Meguiars APC 4:1
Meguiars Super Degreaser
Meguiars Last Touch
Chemical Guys Diablo wheel gel 5:1
Meguiars Perfect clarity glass cleaner
Chemical guys bare bones

Previous detailer got a little carried away with his waxing and stained the trim:

No worries, back to new again:

Those pesky wheel wells looking proper!

I personally love these stockers:

These were just maintenance but boy was the Cadi a handful. Has never been waxed since purchasing. The wheel wells had some very heavy dirt build up but it wasn't any match for Meguiars Super Degreaser.

Thanks for posting the products used. The wheel wells look great with the CG Bare Bones.

I agree! I've used Adams, Griots, and a few other under carriage products but I liked CG the best for versatility and looks.

:xyxthumbs:

Love the blue on the ZR1, stunning! Nice to see a G8 GXP, a truely rare car indeed!

Great work! I love the look of well detailed Corvettes. The blue ZR1 looks awesome!

The blue zr1 is nasty but the white one will grow on you!

The wheels he said were very hard to obtain and they don't make anymore. Not sure if that's true or not but he has a few rare cars so it's not out of the question. The firehawk is 1 of 1 in that combo etc. He has two GXP's btw...

Thank you sir! :buffing:

I rarely post but am always on the forum! Just want to say great job on all those rides!

That firehawk is stunning.

Really, its 1 of 1? It looks great with the blue paint.

OMG!! The chrome on the GS wheels... GAWD what a big difference. Great work man.

Nothing wrong with lurking and obtaining knowledge! But participating and asking questions is when the fun starts!

Yes sir. It's 1 of 1 in that color combo with the formula firehawk package. Has like 6k miles or so. I forget but I do know it's very low like the SS.

Does this guy buy and sell Vettes??

Nope, just wealthy and loves cars. All his.

I asked how he decides which Zr1 to drive and he says just how he's feeling that day but he likes the older one (white)

I have stable of cars to choose from as well. Too bad mine include a beater 2004 Mazda pickup, my wife's 2004 Civic (which is quickly becoming a beater as she keeps hitting the poles in her parking garage with it), and my 11 Charger. At least the Charger is nice, ha-ha!

Seriously nice work on the cars though. LS9 - yum!

Stunning detail work that matches the stunning car collection. what product did you use on the door panels? A family members c6z06 has the same issue; I used 303 protectant last time but haven't seen if it has held up.

Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer was used for the interiors.

Nice stable of cars! I have a ws6 myself, so I appreciate the f-bodies. Are you on ls1tech?
