Well said. Sometimes DIYers don't need a gallon of compund or polish.
I personally thing 16oz bottles of wax, compund, and poish are too much sometimes.

Well technicaly, AG sells in 16 oz form too, but I hear what you're saying and :thankyousign:

The self centered pads are the same exact pads chemical guys carries. Both of those pads are made by Buff N Shine.
 
I started with Adams and continue to use some of their products. The customer service, 110% money back guarantee and all American products is a definite plus. The obvious downside to those "perks" is a premium on pricing. I have learned better products can be had for cheaper but the following products are still tough to beat IMO:

Car Shampoo

Yes forgot the APC. I think its great but havent compared it to a whole lot of other brands yet. Im sure its not the cheapest option either but it definitely works great.
 
it was good but a joke that its sold rtu and not concentrated, pay 1000% more for the same stuff
 
I actually like some of the Adam's line to be honest. The Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner kicks butt, their soap is pretty nice, the detail spray as well, and I have a gallon refill of the glass cleaner. I only had a 4oz sample of the APC so I can't cast a fair opinion other than it was on par with other APC's. While I have found what I believe is the parent company of most of their products, I still enjoying using the Adam's offering in their ready to use format. I've said this before and I feel it is fitting here as well, I don't mind re-packaged products as long as the formula was changed or tweaked and works well. :)

My brother is a big Adams' fanboy and we've traded samples many times. Love the way the detail spray smells but works no better then many other alternatives. think the weakness link in adam's lineup are the compounds/polishes and a pads, but as always YMMV. Nothing was terrible - nothing was OMG terrific and lol, he would say the say thing about a few of the samples I've given him, like OID. We all like what we like. And I agree with the Mike P quote above.

The polishes and pads are definitely the weak link. Huge thick pads and mild polishes make for a very long correction process...
 
I used to used Adams stuff exclusively and now that I detail cars for money I pretty much found as good or better products to use. I still like the detail spray only use that on my cars it's to expensive for customer cars.

The polishes take for ever. I do use the orange and whit pad with Meg's 105 and 205

thanks for the feedback, i'm just about out of my current apc and looking to purchase something new...
