Can't beat the price so why not!

I first bought the PC, then just lately I bought the GG DA.
So now I have my PC setup with four inch pads and my GG is setup with 5.5 inch pads, too bad I can't use either one now due to my health but soon I'll be back at it again and having the two will make it much easier. :dblthumb2:

Just re-greased mine last night. It was a pita as I had to go donkey kong on my needle nose pliers to break the screws loose. My palm is still sore. Vice grips much better if you have those. Also saw a set of three sized cornered screw drivers on amazon.

For the extended protection I just ordered from HF and paid for it $ 9.98 for 2 yrs.
I don't know if local HF will offer this rate.

Lucas red & tacky #2 EP with a drop point of 540•F.is it a good grease for the repack ?

That was a deal!
Bought mine in the store and the 2 year warranty (which I got) was $29.99.

Umm... I think you should go back to the store.
I got mine at a store and I also paid $9.98 for 2 years.

I turned it down when they told me $34.99. If it goes bad I find a 25% coupon & get a new one or move on to another brand. But if it works ...it works! $9.98 I would pay.

I turned it down two wks ago when I bought my last HF DA
Then I read on this site that someone paid $9.98, I then called
HF and they said 9.98 for 2 yrs. I called today ( HF) and bought it for $ 9.98 (2 yrs)

I didnt bother with it (the warrenty). I mostly dont buy the extended warrenty's. most consumer protections people tell youthey are a waste of money. espicially on cars!

Same feelings here, the cashier , the shift supervisor and store manager told me $34.99 for 2 years of extended warranty; take it or leave it the SM manager said to me.

I sell extended warranty for GM vehicles and I have seen warranties paying thousands of dollars for repairs.

Just got their labor day sale coupons in my email. The DA is on sale for $54.99.

Hey guys I don't know if this was answered already or not. But I was wondering. About the speed settings

Does anytime know the opm per each settings by any chance ? Been wanting to know this for a little bjt. I don't know if I'm just blind or just plain stupid that I can't find it. But if anyone does know specifically. That would be great

It has not been listed and the manuyal does not have it. I would think it close to the GG or HD Polisher (its the exact same as the HD polisher)

I started a new thread about the power cable w/ pics. and a link to the mod instructions. check it out.

I knew I could count on you Beamer. You always come threw.

So I'm not losing my mind right. About it not being stated or listed anywhere so far. I just figured it would be nice to know and helps with certain tasks. I like to really try get as much possible info I can on anything I get involved with. So to me it's important. But I figured it shouldn't be much different than the other setups. So thanks again beamer for the help/info you always provide. I'm sure many people benefit from your knowledge and skill like I do
Hey how bout. The whole. Moving the power switch to the top deal. Don't know how much of a job it is or if its worth doing. But I will chek out hour tutorials. Regardless. Always great info

I bought this today. It was marked 59.99 in the store with 20% off coupon I got it for $48.00. They wanted thirty something bucks for the 2 year warranty. I passed they give you 90 days to return with no questions asked.

I have a GG6 which I love but it is a pain to chance plates every time you want to use 4" pads. I figured I would try the HF for a couple of months using it for 4" pads and as a wax spreader and backup. I feel you can not go wrong for $48.00. The back plate that came with it is kinda cheesey it measures 5.75". It should be an okay backup if I really need it. Otherwise I use LC back plates.
