Hello all...
Now I know this is a forum so I wanted to throw out some thoughts and see what you guys think on the matter. Keep in mind I am not just trying to start something out of nothing, just curious...
1) Wolfgang's Cockpit Sealant (new) I assume is competing with Ultima Interior Guard. Since Ultima Interior Guard is clear when applied and looks like nothing is on it when buffed off. A) How do we know if it has any effect at all (for example at least for wax we can see beading) how do we know that it is protecting anything? Since it just leaves the finish the looking the same, what if its just water?
2) For the new WG Crystal Seal, can anyone really tell if it is a new WOWA sealant on its own? What if it is the same Blackfire Crystal Seal in a new WG Bottle to market and sell a "new" product which is really a old product relabeled, no one would be able to tell the difference? I have Zaino CS and Blackfire CS and I cannot tell the difference when applied. Does anyone really notice any difference or you just tell yourself you see it to justify buying more? I don't see much difference from the looks of waxes I use yet I still buy more, but I do tell the difference how easy it is to use and dummyproof, as well as durability, which is what I use to justify trying different waxes. As far as the waxes that advertise the looks, I am a bit skeptical. I know 95% of it is the polishing before the wax which is the protection but my analogy would be if I bought two different buckets of paint, Paint A (red) and Paint B (blue), when I paint something, I can see and notice a difference between the two, justifying the purchase of each one. Even if I didn't see which paint came out of which bucket, I can clearly tell one is blue paint and one is red paint. For waxes, if I was to look at a panel split 50/50 with Wax A (Zymol Glasur) and Wax B (Swissvax Concourso) and polished the same, I honestly might not be able to tell the difference or say which side has which wax. Honestly if someone was to have a blind test of one side with Turtle Wax and one side Swissvax Crystal Rock, do you think you can tell the difference in a blind test?
Just some thoughts to consider, would love to hear any feedback
