Thanks! I'm just over 5'5" so this truck is a real challenge to get high spots.

Thank you!! all the encouragement is really nice to have on a project like this. I have a few interior pictures coming after this post.

btw, hours have been revised to 45 hours + 5 hours for the undercoating (pictures coming).

The hook & loop backing on my original Flex backing plate decided to die on me about 2 sections from the end of compounding, had to wait for a new one to arrive :mad:

This is one of the best investments I have mad in a long time. I have been looking for a compact cordless drill with a lot of speed control and this is better than anything I could have imagined. Three speed brushless motor with easily controlled variable speed on the trigger. 3 LED lights up from to help show what you're working on and I added the Makita chuck there to attach anything else I needed like the Flitz buff balls and what not..
It got a LOT of work on the exhaust for this truck with LC wool balls and the Flitz buff balls

When I'm done I will be putting together a video similar to my past few, I don't know if I have a lot of footage I would like of before but I'll definitely spend some time showing the end results.

Curious about your aproach with the headliner as well? Also what was your preparation process before applying POR15?

Headliner:
-spray APC+ onto towel
-scrub headliner vigorously
-use a stiff brush if necessary
-rub with a dry towel
-no more dirty headliner!

for the POR15, I scrubbed all the rust and old undercoating off with some wire brushes. You can go through their whole preparation process but this stuff bonds so well it really wasn't necessary here, especially since that would be another few hours of prep work. I applied it with a cheap paint brush.
 
Awesome, I use MF towel with OPC with success. I guess the headliner was a lot filthier than what I have seen so the test spot really showed well! I will stay tuned, great thread and work so far on the truck.

Remember, this truck was used as a work truck and the owners smoke in it.
