I used CG W&G at 10 oz/gallon in the MTM hydro :yikes: but wait, won't that strip the lsp?!?!

Don't worry I have opticoat :xyxthumbs: The dilution is used for awesome suds out of my low power pressure washer.

Pressure Washer is AR Electric 118 1.2 GPM 1500 PSI.

Watch in HD, as the normal quality makes the video like poop! :D

CG honeydew snow foam

The best one is Maxi Suds II. I need to take pictures using that.

Stangfreak, I think I made my foam cannon the cheapest possible viable way.

AR 118: $92 shipped
MTI foam cannon: $52 shipped
Powercare Wand: $18 shipped
AR attachment for Powercare Wand: $10 shipped

All in all, $172 for my setup shipped.

My entire setup is cheaper than most people's pressure washers.

However, my setup is not the best. If I had to do it again, I would get a heavier duty electric power washer (more GPM and higher PSI).

I have to use a crazy high dilution of CG Citrus Wash N Gloss to get a good foam, whereas other people don't because their pressure washers are much much better.

Seeing a dollar value allows me to figure out when I can afford something, I hope I helped you convince yourself to get it! :dblthumb2:

I got lucky and got my karcher 1800psi for $70 on craigslist brand new in the box. Retail was $180. And 50 for the cannon.

NICE! And that's better, because unlike me, you didn't have to buy so many attachments to make it work :xyxthumbs:

Although, that deal is not reproducible for others.

Been interested in the foam guns for awhile, but always thought a pressure washer was needed...did I see foam guns that only require your hose and no pressure washer?

Gilmour makes foam guns that you can attach directly to a hose. Granted the foam is not as thick but you will get foam.

One other thing to take into consideration with regards to dilution ratio is water quality. With everything except water quality equal, the harder the water the less foam you will produce. You would be surprised how much of an effect this has. When I moved back east again to hard water (325 PPM) my soap consumption went up 25%-30%!

Gilmour foam guns as stated. However, I've seen it and the foam seems to be really runny. I like my foam to be thick and stick/cling to the car.

Yeah I am around some natural springs in Gainesville, Florida, so I wouldn't be surprised if the water was really hard!

DON'T get the somewhat cheaper Home Depot Green Foam blaster or whatever it is called. Do it right the first time and get the MTM hydro :xyxthumbs:

However... if you have your eyes set on the HD foam blaster, I know someone who knows someone who can ship you it for really cheap ;)

Glad to see you got that to work (well)!

Thanks, the AR pressure washer is definitely not recommended for car foaming unless you have the proper attachments. Took me over a year to find the perfect attachments to get it work with no leak.

It is perfect for car washing and around the house though :xyxthumbs:

Just got the MTM Hydro today...was awesome. Just had about 2 oz left off some old car wash so did the truck. Easy. Maxi-suds coming then I'll take pics and video as well.

Looks like there is a new sherrif in town for foam cannons.

I will be stopping by the CG tomorrow and getting this.
