For the people who like to complain about Autogeeks shipping costs

The people who complain about shipping costs need to talk to the shipping companies, as they are the reason costs are so high, not the online retailers.

I agree, I talked to another online vendor and he was telling me some of the rural areas now have a surcharge of almost $10.00.

He shipped, couple of bottles of ULTIMA WW and 6 towels and the shipping was $19.xx and he gave the customers free shipping.

Then he's not a very good business man. There went his 40% margin.

That why he had to raise the min for free shipping recently....I am sure you know who I am talking about :)

Free shipping and discounted shipping is hard to do nowadays for anyone with all the surcharges, even with the discount for volume.

Amen , my real job is a software developer and I work a lot with logistics based plugins for some major ERP packages, read fortune 100/500 clients. You should see the additional charges and we are talking on dedicated truck loads often mulitple loads. They pass every fee incurred right on down the line.
 
That is high for one product but the flip side is Detailers Domain has free shipping on orders over $49 bucks, so you can't totally bash them. I would just wait til I had a larger cart to pull the trigger.

AG was gonna charge me over $70 to ship my $450 order. Their shipping rates are ridiculous, but to be fair...they have a lot of free shipping promotions for the 48 contiguous states that most can take advantage of.

Didn't you use the AGO promotion? Free shipping over $95 right?
 
Spent a couple hundred $$ on shipping for my last 3 orders, was a bit expensive but not my main concern. The main thing that bothered me is i cant lay my hands on a single CG black light..... thats sad... :(

Ahhhhhh my bad :( well I guess it's a trade off, i enjoy free shipping over $95, you enjoy perfect beautiful weather year round...I'll trade ya ;)
