Should I buy CG J97?

I found a great deal on CG j97 wax for $675. Which is $325 off. I'm very intriged by it and would like to mark it off my list of waxes tried. Any opinions are welcome.

Sorry, but I think that you need some counseling. Unless money means nothing to you, ie Bill Gates etc.

I think any wax over say, $50, ( and I am being liberl here) is a waste of money

There is a difference from 50 buck wax to 150 buck wax. Lots of people here say they use fuzion estate wax and thats 175. I probably would never go over 200 and I usually stick to 50 to 100 buck stuff.

The car wax is a big business. A luxury car care company in London is now offering just the thing to spread all over your million-dollar automobile: car wax that costs GBP24,000 (US$37,070). What a joke! UNBELIEVABLE.
Of course, people buying Definitive Wax Marble aren’t going to be applying it themselves, so they’ll need to open their gold-plated wallets a little wider yet. The automotive treatments range from GBP325 (US$502) up to the connoisseur package, which costs GBP65 (US$100) an hour, and takes a minimum of 120 hours – a total of at least GBP7,800 (US$12,048). I'm not sure Bill Gates would spend that money for a wax nor Oprah Winfrey.

Did you ever hear of P.T. Barnum.? Enough said about this.

Buy whatever you like.

The reason to buy this wax is because you are intrigued about it and want to have one. You want the special thing that few others have. I'm sure it's a great wax. I would expect it to be a little better than Celeste or E-Zyme. You might not find another deal as great as this again, so if you want it, now is the time.

It's mainly a collector's piece, in my opinion. If you want a great wax as a collector's piece, then buy.

If you are concerned about the best wax for your money, I wouldn't. If I was rich enough, I would buy one of every high end wax made, just to have an interesting collection. I am not rich.

I would expect satisfaction from this wax, but to expect a degree of satisfaction based purely upon the looks and performance of the wax itself, I might not be satisfied enough. Again, you should see it as a collectible exclusive wax that because of how few cars have it, you can feel a little extra special with it on your car.

By the way, I can't see putting this wax on a Honda or a Toyota, unless it is an NSX or a Toyota 2000GT. This seems more like a wax you would put on a show car or a super expensive sports or luxury car, like an Aston Martin. It would be wasted on a Country Squire.

the circus guy? what did he do? I am clueless about your post lol

Wasn't it Barnum that said "there's a sucker born every minute?"

IMO there is a big difference between a 50.00 was and 100-200.00 waxes...and one that says there isn't probably hasn't ever used a premium wax.

That is nice.

Every time I convince myself to try a new wax, when I still have some of the old on had, I am sorry. I have never noticed a real difference in the quality of the finish. I will say that some finishes last longer that others. New paint bubbles water without a wax finish so sometimes it is really hard to tell what is really going on.
I am not sure that pro - stuff is really any better than that you can purchase in Walmart.

I am sure that a talented detailer makes a big diffference no matter what he uses. Look at Mike's work. It turns of great with every product he uses.

You are right that 90% of the result is in the prep. Is there enough difference to justify the price difference?? I bought Souveran and Fuzion both on special...to me they are worth the price. Now I could never justify spending 700.00...but to each his own.

I would like to know if he ever pulled that trigger!! lol
