Mike,

I posted this in a different section but wanted to run this by you to see if you have seen this issue.

I applied WGDGS after washing, claying, and cleaning the car with Pinnacle Paintworks Cleaning Lotion. Let the WGDGS set for 45 mins. and buffed it off. All seemed great until about 24 hours later when I noticed what feels like raised bumps all over the vehicle, similar to what it would feel like if the car had not been clayed. In fact, you can even hear the bumps snagging the micro fiber as you move over them. I can clay these off, but I guess I will then need to reapply the sealant and am concerned that it will react the same way again. The car is only nine months old.

Have you ever seen this? This is my first time doing serious detailing as my experience in the past has been with the simple wash and wax. I'm a bit surprised and disappointment has turned into frustration.

Is the car parked in an enclosed garage? Stupid question, but I was thinking if it wasn't then maybe you live in an area with lots of dust. I once lived in an apartment complex not too far away from a quarry and my car got so dusty and dirty.

have you tried iron x?

I haven't, but I can use conventional clay and the bumps come off rather easily. The issue stems on the entire car, with the highest amount on the roof and hood.

Yes, I finished applying the product at around 4:30p on Wednesday. The door to the garage was shut and the next time that the car so the outside world was at around 7:30am on Thursday morning. Temperature on Thursday morning was around 65 and topped out at 83.
