Most regretted detailing product purchase

I bought this wheel brush the other day @Wally World...

Looked like it would work great... Wrong. It's too fat to fit between spokes and into the barrel without a fight. Useless!

^ maybe use it for the wheel wells?

I usually just spray Super Degreaser or APC into wheel wells and jet rinse off. 95% of the time that's all it takes, and when that's not enough [usually on big trucks] I have to use my tire brush and use it to scrub and sometimes even that requires alot of elbow grease.

Maybe I could use it to stick inside tailpipes.

It's way over hyped and super streaky . I don't like product I have to work at to get results

That's unfortunate. I never had an issue. While its not their best product IMO there are way better DS on the market.

Simoniz clay mitt! I went to use it this weekend and it was stuck to the plastic packaging! I guess it somehow got left somewhere hot and the thing melted itself! Got a refund and ordered a proper mitt by Chemical Guys

In recent memory mine would have to be PB sealant, HD adapt and Carpro Fog Fight

Throw out some ideas on a better detail spray out there. I like my Adams detail spray, but am open to trying something else!

Do you want it to have protection I like Meguiars last touch doesn't have any protection in it but has amazing shine

Meg's D156 is great, easier to use even in sunlight and leaves behind some protection. I guess you can call it a Lite spray wax.

wolfgang detail spritz although expensive works great in warm weather because it flashes quickly.

3d final touch detailer - pretty cost effective and easy to use

Ultima waterless wash + is a great option. It can be diluted down to last you a good while and has polycharger in it.

I've been using griots best of show detailer. It was streaky out of the bottle so i added a bit of distilled water. I like the smell and the shine thats left behind :)

I'm a big fan of the following:

No real protection:

-Griot's SpeedShine
-Mothers Cali Gold detail spray
-Megs retail (burgundy bottle) quick detailer

Some protection:

-Griot's spray on wax
-Chemical Guys Hybrid V07 (spray sealant)

I plan on trying out some others as I'm going to need to start buying by the gallon soon. X-wax, last touch, though I think I'll probably mix up some ONR for clay lube as I've heard good things.

Onr is awesome for clay as well as QD always carry around a 32oz spray bottle and some towels in the trunk. X-wax in gallon is great too, lasts forever!

Chemical Guys VSS... Got roped in by youtube. Seems to be a pattern with CG stuff.
