All the rotary machines I know of use the standard 5/8-11 thread.

M14 converts to 0.56 inches which is smaller. The only way to overcome this is to use an adapter whicj will then allow you to use standard accessories....

14mm is most common overseas. You could use a double sided adapter that has 14mm female threads on one end and 5/8 x 11 threads on the other.
