Received my 4 oz bottle in the mail last week and finally had the opportunity to use it today, on my 2011 Audi A5. The paint is in relatively great shape, with no swirls etc. I did a full wash prior to the application, using Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss. Upon rinsing, I was content knowing that any previous wax residue had been removed, since no water beading was observed.

I applied BF Crystal Seal in my garage, out of the sun, at a temperature of 65 F. The product went on easy and dried streak-free.

I didn't notice much difference as far as shine goes, but did notice an improvement in slickness as I glided the MF applicator across the car.

After completing the entire car, I went over the paint with a clean MF towel, just making sure I removed any excess product.

I was very happy with how easy it was to apply, compared to Zaino CS and Optimum Opti-Seal, and no streaking at all (tried both in the past).

As I stated before, the car was shiny as previous, so I don't think BF Crystal Seal adds much shine other than what you already have with a well-maintained clear coat. But than again, I don't think this product is intended to provide shine and glow like a carnauba wax does. That's not what its intended for.

What I did observe and was very impressed with was when I went to hand wash and clean my MF applicator pad with my bar of dial soap. I only used one side of the MF pad to apply BF Crystal Seal, keeping the other side clean and dry. I first rinsed the clean/dry side with water in the sink and noticed that the water was soaked up and absorbed by the pad immediately. As I turned the MF pad over to rinse and clean the side with BF Crystal Seal, well the water didn't get soaked into the pad and simply ran off the pad. I was really neat to see that in action. Even after washing the pad with soap and warm water, the side with product still had a tendency to repel water.

At any rate, I know it's not an accurate or legit test of a product, but it's obvious to me that it's doing its job. I don't care about shine and glow, I just want it to protect the car. I will be topping it off with Optimum Car Wax for a great shine.

I'm pretty happy with BF Crystal Seal thus far! :dblthumb2:

I beads like crazy and I find it very durable on wheels ... a quick protectant and looks glossy too.

Care to elaborate?
It is a WOWA, right?

Glad you had good results :dblthumb2:

I would strongly disagree about BFCS not adding shine. I have both white and silver vehicles and NOTHING makes the paint look this glossy. Nothing!! I'm a huge fanboy of this product and have actually stop looking for alternative sealants & waxes because of the ease of use and results. Once you try it, there's no going back. My only problem is I seem to apply a coat every month or so because of how easy it is. lol On Todd Helme's recommendation, apply 3 coats waiting 1 hour between application. You'll need sunglasses.

Well basically I had streaking issues with both Opti-Seal and Zaino CS. It seemed difficult to avoid that and I likely may have been using too much product. At any rate, I didn't encounter that issue with BFCS.

My car has recently been Clayed and Polished with a superb shine. It's a 2011 and after the claying and polishing, it was as shiny and glossy as any paint could get in my opinion. This may be the reason as to why I didn't notice much improvement in gloss after applying BFCS. However, I definitely have noticed the nice slickness of the paint and the water beading. :dblthumb2:

Thanks for your response and your veracity. I'm not going to highjack this thread but will say I spend countless hours researching reviews, posts, and threads before giving in to purchase of a product. Even if it's a $20 one.

OAN: Never heard of Zaino, or Car Care Product Forums until this time last year.

Not the first time I've read these results. Thanks again.

Thanks for clarifying - I've searched high and low for something that adds pop to white paint and honestly BFCS is the first only only product that makes a difference. But I completely agree with you that the real shine comes from all the compounding/polishing prior to applying the LSP. And three coats doesn't hurt either. :props:

Have you tried the BFWD spray sealant? If so how does this compare?

No I haven't - found Crystal Seal and didn't have a need to continue on that quest. Regardless of what else is out there (at any cost), it won't be easier to apply and for as often as I do it, this is clearly the product for me. Perhaps if you only apply LSP 2x a year then there might be products with better longevity on the market and worth pursuing. But I probably hit the paint on both of my cars at least monthly and sometimes more - BFCS cannot be beat.
