Following the theme of this thread I have a question:
I’ve used Poli-Seal with Optimum MF finishing disks and I really like the results as an AIO on my buddy’s neglected minivan. Since this van had fairly hard paint I wasn’t worried about possible marring but in retrospect should I have done a test spot then stripped it using IPA or something similiar to make sure I wasn’t causing micro marring then covering it up?
Am I overthinking this?
I don't do this for a living just a hobby so I don't have a lot of experience using AIOs.

Two things I should say to this.
1. If you're doing regularly scheduled maintenance, no. If the vehicle is kept washed and waxed, then no issue will surface.
2. I don't believe that you're overthinking anything. Just a conscientious detailer...
