HI,

I purchased a 2012 Honda Accord a few months ago (August 2012). It has dark red. When should I use High Gloss Sealant Glaze?

Thanks

The Sealant Glaze is a great product and I have had great results with it. You can use it whenever you are ready. Just make sure to clay your car and polish it first as it the paint needs to be free of bonded contaminants and prepped for it to bond correctly. Use it sparingly or you will have problems with streaking and it will be difficult to remove. You should apply it thin enough that once it flashes you should see very little to no product remaining. Let it sit for a few hours before you buff it off and you shouldn't have any problems. It also needs to cure for at least 12-24 hours before the paint gets any water on it so keep that in mind.

Basic steps in order are:

  • Wash
  • Clay
  • Paint Correction & Polish
  • Seal
  • Wax

Klasse High Gloss Sealant is a great product but as others mentioned it can be a little tricky to work with. I found applying it using a 4 ounce sprayer lays down just the right amount so it can be easily buffed and in a short period of time. I apply this just like spray wax....really...:props:

clay? what am I supposed to do ? I am ignornant about the clay stuff.

Would it be okay if I wash the car then use the high gloss sealant glaze??

Judging by your username are you here in the Vegas valley? If so I could give you some advice on the rundown of detailing.

I would use Klasse AIO (red jug) before applying KHGSG. The AIO will clean any contaminants and prep the paint for the sealant glaze. They call this the Klasse Twins.

Yep I live in Vega$. Please do give me some advice. . lol.

Is there any store in Vegas that sells Klassee AIO ?
