You bet Mike, and Dani. I was glad to share even though it didn't help Dani with a solution. I figured someone else may need the breakdown as well. That's the main reason I posted it, because seeing how his cannon was coating the car it appeared that there was another causal factor for it not producing thick foam. But, gotta do process of elimination.
If the cannon is assembled and working like it should I would have to say the only solution is using a softer and or cleaner source of water, or using less water/more soap in the dispensing bottle.
The only other thing I can point to that could be an issue with the foam cannon is the mixing valve. With my cannon if I turn the knob to produce more foam then it seems that there is minimal water mixed with the foam therefore very minimal water on the vehicle. In Lim3's pic it appears that possibly there is more water being allowed through the cannon when dialing in for more foam. Just an observation.
Also, thanks for not blasting me for misspelling cannon. Predictive text kept giving me Canon and I kept selecting canon. Silly English.
