Oh my gosh guys I do not think I can stand it anymore. Over the past couple weeks I see so many people with christmas trees on the roof of their vehicles without a towel or anything underneath it. I could just imagine what kind of damage those needles would do to the roof. The worst one was when I was at the homedepot and I saw two guys putting a tree on a chevy tahoe. The one guys just pushed it on the roof and slid it all the way across the roof, then started sliding it back and forth (left and right) to get in a good spot to strap it down. All without a towel or cloth underneath.
I can't believe these people.
Have a good one

Eh, not your car, relax. If they bumped your truck with it while they were loading, then that's when you need an assault rifle (from the other thread). Life is too short to worry about other people's roofs.

Haha yeah im not worryed. Ever since I really started enjoying detailing I just can't stand people like that.

it is funny i think the same thing when I see that. However I also keep in mind that some people truly don't care about how their car looks, just as some people truly don't care how they dress and some people would never step outside without dressing to impress. Or some don't care how shabby their house looks ....etc.

What's the big deal? Unless you're 8' tall your not going to see all the marring the tree caused

No more different then when people throw their deer up on the roof or on their hood.

Saw an Audi and a VW with a deer on their roof last week.

The worst I have seen is a new Benz ML with temp tags tree strapped to the roof and string down to the front bumper and to the rear bumper and to the floor boards on the sides. I feel bad for that suv.

Yep some people just dont care about there cars and trucks they just add gas and go

I would have been too stuned at the idea of an Audi with a deer on the roof to care about the paint. Definitely not your average "lets go deer hunting" vehicle.

Who's to say one can't go hunting in a luxurious vehicle...

...a turbo charged, all wheel drive, $40,000 vehicle. :righton:

Every time I see this happen, I chuckle at it. How about the people that put their favorite football team flag rolled up in their window? That flag is whipping in the wind and popping that paint. Can't tell you how many cars I've detailed with marred paint from those flags.

Just remember, those idiots keep the professional detailers in business.

Exactly, if everyone cared as much as we do then we wouldn't have any business! I laughed when I saw a tree right on a brand new black mercedes s class yesterday. The vehicle still had the temporary plate on it lol.

-"Roof-Scratches" from hauling Christmas Trees??
-Problem solved!!
