Quick detail on my Ranger! V7 FTW

Hey guys,

Got my AG order in yesterday evening, and today I got the chance to try out the chemical guys V7. Works awesome!!

Just as a preface, the last time my truck got the whole works done to it was a good month ago. Hasn't been waxed or spray detailed since then. I washed it on Friday afternoon of last week, and that was it. Its my DD, so it had some pretty good dirt and road film on it before I used the spray. Before applying v7, I used some Meg's UQD to wipe away the dirt and bugs.

V7 is super awesome! I've never gotten the paint this slick and smooth, and it's even cooler those results came out of a spray bottle. Smells great, and wipes on and off like a dream! I'm defiantly hooked!!

Man that yellow is BRIGHT, not even full sun pics either.

CG V7 is good stuff and smells great like you said.

I know, right? The day after I gave it the full detail job, I had it parked at just the right spot in the sun, and oh my god...I seriously was seeing black spots for a minute.

I'll defiantly be buying the gallon when this bottle runs out. I hope AG stocks it!!!
 
Well im glad im not the only ranger owner that keep the ranger looking great =]
 
V7 does many things well. Use as a QD or a spay seleant. The best thing is that it can be used on almost every exterior surface.

It's so freaking awesome. Felt like a kid on Christmas when I got my package yesterday. Now I've got to try out the blacklight on the focus.
 
Save yourself some money guys and purchase V7 by the gallon. By far one of my favorite products overall.

My next purchase of v7 will be a gallon. Just wanted to make sure the hype was worth it. Plus I got my bottle as a part of the 12.12.12 sale :D

Oh yea, I did the same when I first tried it. Gave my Z06 two even coats of blacklight, then wiped with V7. After I cleaned up for the night, I went on AG and ordered a gallon of it. It's that good. :xyxthumbs:

I purchased mine in that sale as well. I had the same reason as you. Try it out first before buying it by the gallon. When i first started, I bought everything by the gallon and it was a big mistake.

Yep. Detailing is too expensive of a hobby to start by buying the gallon. And for every one good product out there, there's two crappy ones to match it.

i thought it was a QD and a gloss enhancer as well, i was wondering why you used Meg's UQD before V7.
i also buy it by the gallons smells like orange juice and vodka to me

I used UQD as a sort of "waterless wash" to remove the dirt and bugs. Didn't want to waste my V7
