Wax question.

What's in this box?

BTW:
It appears that you plan to go 'Baja-ing' over it...
Good Idea!!

No baja.... I drive down some long unlight roads and need to see deer and moose... Learned the hard way a few years back .....

Ordered the Bogo dodo... Also some supernatural spray wax and a fusion .... If I don't like the fusion for some reason I know a guy in the next province who loves it and just ran out.....

Im sure you will love Fuzion. Is it worth the $175 dollar price tag? Of course not, you can achieve the same look with excellent prep work and an LSP 1/4 of the cost of Fuzion. Is it worth it when it goes on sale for $99.00 with a free refill? Absolutely! Great product.

A detailer in the next province over loves the stuff and I added it to my order so I pay shipping and use it for free.... If I like it I keep it and won't get paid back for it. If I try it and don't like it for some reason I see him every few weeks for coffee

Is colinate 885 better than Pinnacle sovereign paste wax for a 'wet' look?
Thanks.

Once again...

You will achieve a "wet" look with almost any wax out there as long as you prep the paint properly. By prep I mean polishing out all the swirls, rids and other imperfections you may have.

However, Collinite will give you one of the best durabilities of any wax out on the market today. Maybe Mr. Bobby G can chime in as he would have more experience with Colly than myself.

Thanks... BobbyG. Your comments.

Asking whats the "best" wax for shine is like asking whats the best motor oil for protection. There are too many variables...

You should be asking yourself "how can I maximize the shine on my paint" and thats by polishing out all imperfections. 90% prep work, 10% wax or sealant.

:iagree:

Collinite makes good waxes for durability. Most waxes nowadays do what they say...to me the difference is prep and deciding whether you want short term "shine" or longer less pop and go for durability.
