Post your MicroFibers

interesting...I knew the markup was insane but didnt realize the same towel was being sold for almost half!

yep, thats not a good feeling if your a loyal customer. makes you wonder what else is marked up like that from Adams.

Theres no excuse. Thats not passing along a deal to your loyal customers. Should make you rethink the entire "adams" philosophy.

thank goodness we have places like AG to shop from. There prices are still fair and in line with some of the smaller mom n pop shops that are running out of there garage with little to no overhead. helps build loyal customers.

No kidding...

HMM okay. Well I'm definitely not buying it from them that's for sure.

I have a bunch of those same towels I bought from a local guy who is out now and they were $5/piece.

$8.50/ea at Adams before any discounts...

Good towels are expensive even at 5.00 a towel. I tend to wait for sales and stock up. I probably have 30 towels that have never been used so I am good for a bit. :)

I though this was post your MF's thread? I didn't post any links, just my towels. Glad to see it turned into bashing a good company, great input guys.

I'll try and get this thread back on track...here are my towels

All the good stuff.

CG towels by themselves

waffles

cheap towels for wheels/tires

What's with the red towel? It looks like the typical "workhorse", or "all purpose" rag, yet have a place in your top arsenal.

Looks a lot like AG's all purpose, but in red.

380 g/m2?

Those shaggy furballs are my go to towel for interior that is well kept.

Nice stash of towels you have there.:xyxthumbs:

The red towel is from CarPro. It comes with the Ceri Glass kit. Or, you can get it separate. It has a really unique type of texture to it.

A question about towels:

Has anyone noticed the grey and black Cobra 530s are hard to keep "together" or folded in 4s during a rinseless wash? Like they are too dense and grabby?

As for towels being marked up, buyer beware. When I start seeing crazy rip off prices for some products, that just turns me off to the whole business.

Anyone else have trouble with the green autozone mitt leaving green "threads" behind while washing?

Thank you very much! :props:

It's funny - my favorite towels (within my limited selection) tend to be the basic short nap kind, rather than the thick & fluffy samples that most preferred & raved about.

The thicker they are, the more difficult it is to work with while QD-ing.

I just picked those up from cg on my last order. I'm excited to try them, and likely will order more since they feel super nice!

It's pretty common for wash mitts to start loosing "threads" as they age. Nicer quality mitts will last longer and are usually much softer on the paint.

Yea, this green mitt started loosing threads the first wash. I wouldn't recommend it.

Anyway here is my stash, dirty up top, clean at the bottom. Juste getting started and I would really love another couple guzzlers. I received the microfiber kit from my dad this christmas.

Where did you get that green wash mitt?

Autozone. I wouldnt recommend it. It leaves behind fibers almost every time.

I thought so. Its sad when I can recognize my stores products lol. I work there once a week part time. Their microfibers are trash, I use them to clean tires and door jambs but even then they rip and lint.

However I use their "microfiber ultra flece" wash mitt. Its held up well over many washes suprisingly. I used it recently with ONRWW, any recomendation on a better alternative? I have 3 cobra 600jr's and gold plush on the way from AG.
