I'm almost in need of some new Klasse, however, I've been using it for a a couple of years and am wondering if there is something new I should try that is just as good but will give a little more of a wet look? I love the fact that Klasse is is easy to apply (wowo). Is there something from Chemical Guys, Wolfgang, etc.? Also, it doesn't have to be a liquid, I'd be fine with a paste since I'll be applying by hand anyway. I use Meg's 105 and 205 for my polishing work and a Pinnacle clay bar with Pinnacle clay lube.

I have never used the Klasse....but I do love the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0.....:xyxthumbs:

Just thought of another question, would it do any good at all to follow up an application of Klasse with a paste of some sort?

After prepping or polishing the finish try applying some of the new clear sealants on the market. Sealants have come a long way and using a dedicated sealant to protect is my better than just using an all-in-one product..

Sealants

Traditional Sealants

Wipe On and Walk Away (clear)

Thanks Bobby, I was hoping you would chime in. So I could put these over the Klasse AIO and it would help get the wet look? Klasse AIO looks good but I'm looking for a little more pop.

Before switching...Is Klasse AIO the only Klasse you have?

Have you ever tried applying Klasse HGSG atop Klasse AIO?

^^^"Klasse Twins"...That's the route I go!^^^

I've only ever used the Klasse AIO, not the SG. I've always heard the SG was difficult to work with and I'm not the most patient of people and tend to use more product than I should (bad habit that I can't seem to break).

If you are trying to replace Klasse AIO I the best options in my opinion are Werkstat Prime & Prime Strong. They are updated versions of the original KAIO. They are even easier to use and work better for me.

A few other chemical cleaner options are Ultima paint prep, p21s GEP, Prima Amigo.

You're Welcome! :props:

Klasse AIO is a nice chemical cleaner and when buffed, leaves a little protection behind. Any of the sealants above will go nicely over Klasse's AIO adding to both the protection and shine.

Klasse High Gloss Paint Sealant was designed to be used after its AIO product....

Troy, Werkstat products work superbly and I love their Acrylic Jett Trigger sealant...:props:

Klasse AIO is the perfect base for Klasse HGSG...
You should try it...Not too difficult to apply/remove...IMHO.

I think we've all experienced issues with this sealant at one time or another and the key is to apply it super thin......

It was either Scott or Nick tried something that seemed to work well and shared it with the rest of us...so I too gave it a try....Shake the product well and pour some in a 4 ounce spray bottle. Give the section a couple of sprays then buff off with a microfiber towel...

So simple and it works splendidly.....:props:

I've been using the Klasse twins since 2005 and if KSG is too hard to deal with its because your using too much! The place I used to get my detailing products from told me how to properly use KSG and here's the deal. After using the KAIO on the car you take your applicator (I prefer a cotton square) and dunk it in some water and wring it out so its just damp. Then you'll wanna pour some KSG in a small spray bottle and spray 1 squirt onto your damp applicator, maybe 2 depending upon how it sprays, you'll be able to determine this at the time of use. Once you begin, do a section at a time and WOWO, that's it. From time to time you should dunk your applicator and wring out once again, keeps it clean and damp. Once your done you'll notice the "bling" right away but its also suggested to add another coat 12 hrs later and let me tell you that when you do, well, you'll be rewarded with an awesome finsih and monthes of protection. Oh and BTW if you find you've used too much in a spot, no problem, just go back over it with your damp applicator.

Klasse Sealant Glaze is one of the forgotten gems on the market IMO and while I'm thinking of it, you can also add 1 oz of KSG into your rinseless wash made up to be a quick detailer to give a legit "boost" too, I do!

Thanks everyone, excellent feedback! Sounds like I've got a couple of really good options to try. I see a large order in my future.

For you guys that use Klasse (AIO or the SG), do you use any type of paste with it or would that be a waste?

I don't do it too often...
But I have been known to "waste"/apply a film layer of:
Paste-carnuba wax/hybrid carnuba wax... atop the cured Klasse HGSG film-layer(s):

M26; S100/P21S; 3M Show Car; Optimum Car Wax; etc.

Boils down to personal choice more often than not.

Just mixed up some Klasse HGS with ONR at clay lube dilution. Left the section of the panel I tested it on very slick. Thanks Klasse, for reminding of Klasse's versatility. No pun intended. :)
When I first started detailing for money I used the Klasse twins like I use Opti-Coat now. I thought it had the best gloss and durability, and very economical. The way metallic paints really pop with Klasse twins is second to non for me when it comes to ease of use and cost; so little product goes so far. And if you are working by hand it is a great system IMO since WOWO is the way to go with Klasse. If you want a wetter look with Klasse then I would say any soft, wowo carnauba wax would do the trick but, a wax that favors your paint color may do an even better job. A lot is just up to what your eyes see and the environment you see you car in the most.

So from what I'm hearing, it sounds like the Klasse twins are 1) not as difficult to apply as I thought and 2) provide an excellent look. Like I said, I've used the AIO religiously, just never anything over top of it.

I use the twins and after I apply the hgsg I usually top it off with a carauba for added protection. I dint really see any more shine or wetness to it, after using two coats of hgsg it looks shiny enough. Give the hgsg a shot with the spray bottle technique.
