We had a customer trade in this lovely 2009 wrx with 65000km .... He painted the rear hatch and two doors and needed or so he thought his other two doors painted. He went out and shopped around and got 4 quotes ranging from 2000-3500$ ..... He traded it in on a new brz in Rally blue :D .... I told sales manager to let me take on the challenge of the two doors for an extra 250$ xmass bonus if je was happy..... I ended up with 500 as a bonus and a wrx for a week to use :)

Shafting the consumer, one car deal at a time.. Lol

Imagine the return on investment if your sales department had educated the consumer instead of just doing as he requested and docking his trade $2500 bucks...

Dealers... :face palm:

Customers lease was up and he knew it needed paint. My sales manager thought so also . I made the claim that it didn't and was told to prove it... Asked for a 250 bonus to do it off the clock if the results looked good.....

Your lucky most dealers wouldn't pay you any extra money to fix that. Glad they did very nice work.

This shows with a little time, know-how, and a few products what can be made like new again.....:props:

I used my own products after hours at work. They basically paid a used recon plus the bet ....
