Newbie with brand new car

I'm still an advocate of doing it the first time by hand, it might take you the days to do it, but it'll be the best chance you'll get to get to know every nook and cranny... not to mention the great upper body workout, lol.

+1 I did all my detailing by hand for 6 years before I got into machine buffing. It is defenitely a lost art. Makes you more aware of the paint infront of you, and the workout your getting :D

So I kind of put this on hold thanks to Mother Nature not being so nice. Spring is coming quickly, so I'm dusting this one off. I'm itchin' to fix this poor car. I washed her this past weekend since it was a balmy 50 and sunny and wow are there some major swirls on this thing. :(

At any rate, I've tweaked my shopping list.

GG3 6" DA (pads still TBD)
pad conditioning brush
Iron-x
Menzerna PF2500
Menzerna SF4500
2 grit guards
Detailer's wheel glaze
WG finger pockets
Meg's gold class endurance tire gel
Cobra Guzzler

Wax/sealant TBD
I placed a large AGO order a few days ago that should be here today!! I went with the above, as well as getting the LC hydropads, CG BlackLight and CG BLACK wax. I also bought Mike's ebook last week and have read the majority of it already. Awesome stuff!

Of course the weather sucks - mid 30s and snow showers, so I'm going to have to wait until it warms up a bit. I don't have much room in the garage to do this. It's too cold to wash and iron-x the car, so I'm going to have to stay patient. Of course the weather will turn when we go on vacation next week... I'm just a tad anxious....

I'll post pics as things progress and would love any/all feedback. I won't be offended if you call me out for doing something dumb. :props:
