Car Show Judges

I would like to be a judge for Detail Fest 2013. I have worked for a South Florida car show promoter for a couple of years without getting shot or beaten up by the car owners. Please keep me in mind.

There was peoples choice last year? Where were the ballots?

I don't think I will be able to judge this year due to the fact it was to much for me last year (Health Reasons ) but be more then happy and give out some pointers and how we judged last year and other car shows I've judged .

We will miss you in teh judges booth (well there was no actual booth, but you get what I mean) as you did a great job. Look forward to seeing you at Detail Fest again!
 
How are we doing with our judges, I do believe we have several good members ready to help!
 
I have gotten a few inquires from forum members who expressed an interest in helping out with judging at the show. If anyone else is interested in helping please feel free to shoot me a PM.
 
We are still looking for judges on Saturday and Sunday for the car show. If anyone is interested please feel free to shoot me a PM.

Well I have judged, including tractor trailers just not in a while. OTOH, I'd need air tix to get there. :rolleyes:

Funny story; We had one guy that showed up with a spanking new 60 Ton Peterbuilt to show in a working truck class. We let him in, but put him on a 1000 point system in order to critique every nut and bolt as the rig didn't have 500 miles on it, (then averaged). I remember hitting him with TWO .5pt deductions from finding a fly split in half in his radiator! :laughing:

He ended up with 3rd, only because the guys above him removed their wheels AND FUEL TANKS AND STRAPS to polish them! (Including respraying the frame rails inside and out:buffing:.)

I do need to get away, Just need to talk the wife to take off for a few days huh.
Depending on the route, 562~592 miles each way, whew that's pricy fuel these days.

Tell ya' what, lemee have a place to stay and rest my head and I'l love to make it happen. :)
 
Great show ! I will definitely try to give a hand and help judge next year
