So recently did the lady's Ford Fusion. It was suffering so I did a quick ONR wash, speedy prep wipe on the entire thing, D300 w/mf ~2-3 passes and then followed up with this spray wax. First time really using it and I'm pretty impressed so far. It's been about a week and a half so no real durability tests but those will come. The beading action is pretty great. This was after a pretty hard rain too.

I don't have any high expectations from it but so far it's working really nice. Water leaves the surface really nice and has a sort of "cleaning" effect to it. I'm sure I'll end up fully correcting it when I get more time and then opti-coating it but for now this is good.

Looks nice Brain.:xyxthumbs:

I love D156 too. I find it usually last about 3-4 weeks. It held my truck over last spring/summer till I could get a good coat of sealant on it.

Great to know! She loves being the test mule for different products so this is one I had been wanting to try for the "express" service I offer. Very nice and thank you for that input, much appreciated!

+1. Easy to use, can be used on entire exterior and last about a month. I use it after washes to maintain and in the winter for a quick wax.

Agreed... I use it the same way too. Love it!

I used Meg's spray wax today next to CG V7........not a whole lot of difference between the two imo. The durability verdict is still out but I really can't test that myself since I use spray was once a week or so.

Looks like a million dollars worth of 'beads'!! :xyxthumbs:

And...IMHO...
Can't go wrong with any of Meg's "Spray-Waxes"...

Its been around for a while.......DON"T confuse D156(synthetic Express wax) which is very good stuff with D157(Express wax) which streaks like crazy IMHO.

D157 does tend to streak a bit, not a big fan of it.

I have been using the Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Wax and it is same as this Detailer's line spray wax. It lasted 1 month for me too!

dad07, are you referring to the newest Detailer line liquid wax? How does it perform?

thats what I understand is that D156 (synthetic x-press SPRAY wax) and Ultimate quick wax are the same.

hopefully I'm not confusing anyone........but shoot I'm confused myself, but here it goes.....

D150-----xpress liquid wax <------I have no experience with this
D156-----synthetic x-press spray wax <-------great stuff!!!!!!
D157-----synthetic x-press Liquid wax <------- not so good IMHO streaks like crazy.

these are the ones I know of if there is something new direct me to a link please.....so I can try it out!

Thanks fellas! And yes, don't get it mixed with D157, definitely not the same.

A little confused, I do not see a listing for Meguiar's D156. Am I missing something? -Ed

Great..thanks! I get a little overwhelmed with all the different variations. I know what I like in one product line, but trying to buy the equivalent in bulk.

Ed its a great spray wax thats equivalent to Megs Quik Wax (consumer line).

I works great as an option for those that that don't want to go with higher end sealant or those that just want a maintenance wash and you want to add extra shine. It work wet or dry so you could spay this on the car after a wash prior to drying then go to your drying. Seems to make drying faster while adding shine and protection! :dblthumb2:

I like to use it as I'm drying also. Seems to make it easier. But I'm sure we're sacrificing a little bit of durability by doing so because of the water. But maybe not since its hydrophobic? I dont exactly know.
