Hello, I Just bought myself a new FLEX XC 3401 VRG 230 Volt Orbital Polisher.
I want to know what are the BEST polish, swirl removal and Finishing Polish I could Use?
I am thinking On Menzerna... Told it was the best...
For Cutting polish I want a good swirl Removal polish.
For finishing, I want Super great results for shine.

I just want 2 Products not more... I was told about a new Menzerna polish that was really easy to clean and doesn't make a lot of mess? I don't know the name....
Thank you! I Am a really happy camper Now!

I am going to chime in (despite the fact that I am no expert) and say that based on my extensive reading on the site, I am pretty confident that the expert would say:

"It depends on the paint you are dealing with"...meaning single stage, clear coat/base coat, hard/soft etc....

AND

"It depends on the condition of the pain you are dealing with"... meaning light scratches to more heavy paint defects.

That being said, the experts seems to recommend the
1) Menzerna Power Finish & Super Finish Bundle, Menzerna Polishing Compounds, Menzerna PO203 & PO106FA, car polishes
2) Wolfgang Duo 3.0 8 oz. polishes, Wolfgang car polishes, Wolfgang swirl removers, auto detail, compounding
3) Meguiars Swirl-Free Kit for Machine Application, Meguiars Swirl Remover Kit, Meguiars Machine Polishing Kit

I've seen some pretty impressive result using these.

Hope it helps!

Menzerna SF4500 is the best finishing polished I've used. Everything else will depend on the car, compounds and mid range polishes are dependent on what the car needs and the hardness of the clear, etc. You have to try a few before deciding on what works best for you as there is no end all answer.

no such thing as a best polish.

Almost every one sold on Autogeek is quality. Almost any quality polish can get you the results you are looking for, you just need to know how to use it.

Results come from 80% technique and 20% product in my opinion.

There is no "best" polish - different products have different reactions depending on the paint; they also have different characteristics which might or might not appeal to the user, depending on that user's preferences.

That said, among the easiest products to use, while still performing very well, would be Meguiar's Ultimate Compound and Ultimate Polish. They're targeted to regular, retail OTC consumers - and are therefore formulated to be easy to get good results from - but they're based on M105/M205, staples in Meguiar's professional compound/polish line.

I think product accounts for more than 20% of final results, but that's just my opinion/experience.

I agree. Have you ever heard the saying "its not the arrow, it's the indian," technic, technic, technic!!!

I agree with both these good guys, they clearly know what they are talking about.

Asking whats the "best" polish is about as redundant as asking whats the best wax.

Remember, "your product is only as good as the user using them"- CM8 6MT
