Your most trusted LSP

Collinite 915. Superior durability and looks great. I know someone's car will be protected thru the winter elements when 915 is the LSP.

Collinite 845 is tried and true for me.

Testing out Wolf's Body Wrap on my car and Hard Body on my parent's Edge.

summer:
opti-seal + optimum car wax

winter:
collinite 476, machine applied, machine removed. bombproof.

Can 915 be applied by hand? I just invested in DG 105 and UPGP. Is 915 better?

Yes it can be applied by hand. UPGP is very durable if you apply two coats but it still isn't as durable as 915 IME. I can't comment on DG as I never tried it.

If Im doing a black car or another dark color I use PB Black Hole followed by Collinite 476. Any other color I use DG 501 or 111.

Collinite 845 and Pinnacle Sovuran Liquid wax.

Jim you have to try DG I think you'll really like it. ( MR Carnuba) LOL

One day maybe but I am not to big on the DG line......Polish, sealant, bonding agent, ect ect ect. Too confusing of a line and what I tried from DG never "WOWed" me.

Ive never tried any of GG's LSP's, and the funny thing is I own a GG DA. Use whatever works well for you, im sure they are great LSP's.

Can Optimum Car Wax be considered a LSP in isolation even if the Car is not protected with any other wax or sealant? BTW, is OCW a Carnuba or a Sealant?

Spray Wax - Optimum Car Wax
Liquid Wax - Pinnacle Souveran
Paste Wax - Swissvax Concourso
Sealant - Blackfire Wet Diamond
Hybrid - DoDo Basics of Bling

Can Optimum Car Wax be considered a LSP in isolation even if the Car is not protected with any other wax or sealant?

Many folks, including myself, use OCW as a genuine, "stand-alone" LSP.
It is not uncommon that I'll also apply an additional film-layer of OCW...
In the hopes of achieving 'total coverage'.
BTW, is OCW a Carnuba or a Sealant?

Per the below information...I will aver that it's a: 'Hybrid Spray Wax'...
NOTE: I personally have no qualms about you judging for yourself, though.

From Optimum’s web-site (my high-lighting):

-"Optimum Car Wax is the only spray car wax that provides the durability of a paste wax and long-lasting UV protection.
A combination of high-grade Carnauba wax, sealant polymers and UV inhibitors that forms a protective layer on the
painted surface to protect the paint from sun damage and environmental elements for up to 5 months.

-UV inhibitors help keep the color from fading and are present in the clear coat finish.
These become deactivated or consumed over time. The UV inhibitors in Optimum Car Wax
augment these and help protect the paint from fading.

-Since Optimum Car Wax has no abrasives, it will not cause damage to moldings or trims.
In fact applying Optimum Car Wax on these surfaces will protect them as well.

-You can use Optimum Car Wax in a garage or other enclosed areas
since it contains no chemical solvents whatsoever".

If you, supernaut, have read the above...
What say you now about OCW's status as a:
Carnuba or Sealant?

Thanks.
