I just used raggtopp cleaner and protectant on 03 bmw z4 black soft top.
I used horse hair brush back and forth motion
clean them really good, dry them completely.
customer told me that there were alot of zig zag pattern looking stain everywhere.
I followed manufacturer instruction
I dont know what went wrong
I will attatch the few photos
let me knkow what will be the best thing to fix this issue

Those lines are either from the brush or from the spray, my guess is the brush.

In one of my videos on this topic I suggest cleaning very gently using the Horse Hair Brush because you can alter the look of the fabric. That could be what happened.

Sorry to say but the only way I can think of that you "might" be able to fix this is to re-clean the top and try to use the brush and the cleaner to smooth over those lines. That is if they were in fact caused by the brush.

When working on cloth tops, especially if they are older, neglected in the first place and dark in color you really have to be careful how you "touch" or scrub them.

:)
