Expensive waxes

I am always surprise to see the prices of some of these high priced waxes and products. Again I more surprised not to see anybody mention 845iw, 476s or 915. Consider that betweem $15 - $32 you can get some of the best shine and durability.

I would use Polish Angel Signature Waxes... Amazing top quality.

Something like this?

SV Glacier is also another one that I'm interested in as my gf's car and my car are both white. Better to get 1 wax for both of our cars then getting a wax specific for my brand and one for her brand of cars.

SV Glacier is amazing wax and works well on light silvers too! With a good prep work, you will make black cars cower :D

Usually with company specific waxes. The company looks at the history, present and future of that companies paint systems and makes an all round wax for that system and general colour scheme.

I usually spend the money on the abrasives and keep the LSP around $30 at the most.

What's your current favorite or product you feel that gets the job done/more than adequate?

Compare to %99.99 of folks here, my inventory is as simple as it gets: D151 & D156

I have a bottle of CG's V7, but have yet to use it.

Looks like glacier is my next buy. Or there's SV concours too. Too many choices!

I have a bottle of CG's V7, but have yet to use it.

Got it. Liquid Glass. It doesnt get much love in the forum world but it is a great product. Base with that, top with Blacklight and then lsp with V7 or AW. That usually gets the job done for quite a while.

I'm still trying to figure out why you would want actual gold flakes in your wax... wouldn't that mar the h3ll out of the paint???

Wow they still make liquid glass. I used to put that on my mom's car maybe 30 years ago.

Andr3wilson has convinced me to get SV glacier or concours. So I will wash and wax my car and my girlfriend's car today to get finish off the can of cg 5050 so I will have an excuse to buy it. And I have to figure out what to get her for valentine's day. Something nice, but not too expensive as business has been slow for me and use my leftover money for the SV wax. Maybe I'll tell her instead of dining out, I'll cook her dinner and clean up since valentine's is on a weekday and since she's a CPA and putting in extra hours due to tax season it'll be better to stay at home and save some money (for my wax!)

I'd take his advice and pick up some concourso. Best quality wax I've ever used by far.

There are too many waxes and I don't own enough cars. I would love to try all these (and more) but I only own 2 cars and already have several LSPs I haven't used yet.

Maybe I should start waxing my house.

My Fuzion was applied back in mid November and its still beading pretty well, not tight ofcoarse but pretty good. Its been through a couple touch-free washes as well as a very good wash with the long strips, 3x's and it still looks great inperson!

I went with sv insignis v3 (haven't tried it yet) and have af destiny which looks awesome and supposed to last a long time. I'm waiting for af illusion to be imported here. If it looks half as good as it does in pictures, it'll be worth it. It's less expensive than af destiny, but is glossier and cheaper. The downside is that af says that illusion will only last a minimum of 2 months compared to destiny which lasts a minimum of 6 months and is their limited edition flagship wax. Some have compared destiny to sv concourso in looks and if illusion is better, that is crazy glossy. I'll strip my one layer of af destiny for af illusion any day. And I still have to use sv insignis v3. I need to buy another car to test all of these waxes.
