C63 10 Hour Correction - i am Autos - Lots of pics!

Honestly I prefer rear wheel drive in the snow, its more predictable.

Our annual snow fall isn't too high actually. About 46 inches of snow. We do get the most sun out of all the Provinces though so I can't complain.

How about you?
RWD is a lot more fun too. lol

We're at about 115 inches for the year, our average is 200+. We don't get as cold as you guys do though.

That would be pretty sweet! You'll start to scare people!

It was a 6.3 that i did!

Beautiful car! I haven't driven the previous generation, only the new 5.5 biturbo one. It was the wagon too! Such a sleeper! love that car!

I dont know which I like more, the work have done here or your website.

Excellent all around!

Thank you sir!!

As a matter of fact, I literally just finished it 5 minutes ago!

thoughts re: working on the cermiclear?

how many times have you machine polished the car previously?

lastly...about the mats...the timing of me reading this is funny.

i hear the weathertech aesthetic sentiment often. i have used them in my last two cars and need mats for a C63 i just picked up. i decided to get a liner type mat that my colleague uses in his Subaru called 3D mats. they are SO much better than weathertech. they feel different under your feet, they aren't slippery when wet and they look great. they have these weird little fingers underneath that hold onto the OE carpet, but not like the old school spikey things. hard to explain, but it prevents them from sliding around. they have two types - he has ones called "kagu" and that is what i ordered. the others are like a tight pile carpet, but a three dimensional liner too. weird.

i'll post pics when they arrive. definitely superior to weathertech imo and a hair cheaper as well.

Interesting thoughts on the mats! They are my winter ones. I know what you are talking about though!

As far as the clear:

Well cerami-clear is really hard. For heavy swirls and scratches I just go straight to a rotary. I use open cell pads and Menz products all round. Not worth the trouble of trying to do it with a DA.

For the thickness, I am a little disheartened. The car sat in the showroom so every so often it got a "premium polish" job. Some hack in the back took a rotary, wool pad and a high cut compound to a few places pretty hard. Factory most Euro imports are about 120-130 microns. Mine is as low as 89 and as high as 105.

Congrats on the MB!!!

Great work car came out amazing.

Thank you very much!
