Dodo Juice Opinion

Sonic, did you ever give psynx a recommendation? I know he's got a white car and so does his gf. Same boat as me. My white is a warm white and not a cold, washing machine white, and my gf's car is a lexus so her car is that off white metallic whatever type of white.

I wanted to try a dodo juice wax for white cars but wasn't sure which one to get. I usually go for a hard wax over a soft one as I find it easier to apply for me. Or I'll just go for the SV glacier when I close my next escrow.
 
yeah, I recommend dw over lf mainly due to texture I haven't had much hands on time with these two
since you have 2 whites I'd pickup dw and lf, you can try each wax that are supposed to be designed for your like color, and can experiment with layering them, should be able to get a good 10 coats of wax out of them as well
for ~20 why not before you drop 200? on an sv wax

Which Swissvax do you have? And I thought about getting supernatural in the past, but have read too many mixed reviews about it.

My next wax will be one of the following waxes. SV zuffenhausen, SV concours, SV glacier, dodo juice soft or hard wax for white cars, and CG celeste delaggiowhatever.

It's tough picking one especially when all seem to be good and kinda expensive so I can't just buy all of them at once. Plus I still got 1 1/2 cans of cg 5050 and 90% of zymol glasur left. I think I just like having stuff. Damn addiction.

Id be remiss not to suggest Hard Candy, its delicious on all colors.
 
I know that Banana Armour is for reds and yellow , but my cars are medium blue metalic and silver. I got the BA for nothing and im wondering how it will look on my colors.

I actually used celeste detagglio on my gf s truck andbi loved the results idk if you saw the thread I made. Also reading on this forum and other forums, people suggested soft wax for a deeper wet look. The hard wax has more durability but kess of a gloss.
Imma turbo my ap2 maybe this year not sure though I got other plans brewing. Potentially a NSX, turbo ap2, or buy rental property. One of those 3
 
From what I've seen Celeste looks like a high quality wax, and the presentation seems nice as well

I'm one of those people that would rather have one really nice thing than 20 "okay" things. Which is why I don't have 20 different "okay" waxes. Would you rather have one jar of Swissvax Destiny and cherish it or 20 jars of "okay" wax? That's just the way I roll though.

The mixed reviews you read are usually from people that do not apply it correctly. If you put too much on at once it will "sweat" and/or "haze", an annoying trait of all waxes with high carnuba content. I have Swissvax Concours and "others". Concours is a mean wax my friend. Ask anyone here. One of my clients and dear friends has a rare white Lexus LS600. To see Concours on it is something to behold. :xyxthumbs:
