household uses for my new flex?

Its probably way overkill for me--I just want to protect my investment in my new, but plain white car. Flex buyers seem to rave about their machines so I got one.

Anyway, are there other household uses for these machines? I'm thinking it could take on that glass shower door with all the water spots.

What other uses do you put these machines to, if any? Please provide details like pads used and so on.
 
Don't worry if it might be overkill and just enjoy using your Flex. I am somewhat in your situation. I have not looked back on purchasing my Flex a bit over a year ago and asked why I did that. I haven't given a thought about coming up with uses for it around the house. However, I do use my PC with a scrub brush to clean the shower tile. But the Flex and it's pads? Strictly reserved for my car and friends' cars.
 
Polished Fireplace hearth tile with Hydrotech TTangerine and Optimum Compound.
 
That why I have a flex and a Cyclo, the Cyclo is great for almost anything you can think of.
 
I have used mine (FLEX) to polish the shower tiles and kitchen counter tops - does a great job! :buffing:

I used mine to blow out the dryer vent.
 
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!

My wife rolls her eyes when I scrub the showers and apply glass wax, buff the granite in the kitchen and baths and scrub the glass stove top. I try to point out other things I could do with my PC but then I get the heavy sigh...

Trusty old 105 205 combo with a Flex 3401 and Lake country pads. Then a coat of Dodo juice Supernatural Hybrid. I actually was using my Mytee steamer to detail the washer and dryer the other night. :xyxthumbs:

Are 105/205 and the dodo juice food safe? I'd like to polish/seal my granite in the kitchen, but don't want to use anything that will kill me if I put food on it

But detailing the washer/dryer lol... I like that idea

My wife walks in and says, cars all detailed and you're bored, sits down with her wine and laughs then proceeds to shop online for more shoes........and it all works for us!
