How do you remove old dried tree sap. I've just about tried everything. Please tell me what stone I may have lert unturned.

Purell hand sanitizer. Works like a charm. I've tried other hand sanitizers, and they don't work like Purell. Just be sure to wax afterwards. Put a drop on the sap then rub it with a MF towel. I've never had any negative issues using it, but I guess there's a first time for everything.

WOW, a very simple and inexpensive solution to a very common problem! :props:

Tried and true, Goof-Off. I know BobbyG is probably tired of hearing me say it but it does work great.

:iagree:with the goof off, but i will try the purell too sometime! Be sure to wax/seal afterwards.

HAHA, not at all!

Many times these tried and trued methods need to be revisited so that everyone understands their effectiveness.

I've had good luck with a steamer. Heat it up and wipe it off. Sometimes with a little help from Tarminator. I will give the Purell a try though.
