Hello everyone, it's me with my Civic FD2 again. Previously I have posted in regard to the effectiveness of the Opti-Coat after 3 years. And now yeap, the same cars again except I decided to give it a light polish in celebration of Chinese New Year here in my country. The entire car is given a wash down with Optimum Car Wash, dried with the trustworthy Cobra Guzzler, and clayed down with Opti Eraser.
The polish was done using Makita 9227C with Optimum Hyper Polish for one pass over the entire vehicle, speed varies 1-3-1, and finished with another pass over the entire vehicle with Flex XC3401 DA with Optimum Hyper Polish too, at speed setting of 1-4-2-1. This is just a light polish to brighten up the paint after the years since it is first detailed, and therefore Opti-Coat wasn't affected since we did not polish it hard.
Mistake is, we forgot to take the photos of "before", and all we get is after. Nevertheless, just to share
...
Just managed to take one shot during the very last panel
An overall look
Just trying to show the reflection of ceiling
From another side
My very own "lame" version of 50/50 with rear windscreen
It sync and lined with the actual wall lining
Again, my "lame" 50/50
Now switch on the ceiling light
I like this angle most
From another side
Boxed and pillar-ed in
From top and all across
No idea why I took this
My lame shot again
Just to show it closer
Even more
Vacuum cleaner plays a big part, so we decided to let it in
Too bad it doesn't link up
Ditto from earlier shots, only from further to capture more
