I only detail my cars and maybe couple of family members, The condition is great on all three. When spring rolls around I will do minor correction, and usually use M205.

I know there are alot of polishes out their and this can become a opinionated debate quick.

Am I missing anything by using just M205? It leaves a great finish with and decent correction on its own.

Should I expand my horizon:dblthumb2::buffing:

EDIT: I forgot I have the Pinnacle Twins too.

I would pick up at least one product with a little more cut like Menzerna FG400 and keep the 205.

The FG400 has caught my eye because the way it finishes.

I just updated my comment, I forgot about the Pinnacle Twins I won last year.

Since the paint-condition of all three is great...

There may not be the need to use M205 over each entire vehicle...
Just, perhaps, for isolated areas in need of spot-buffing.
(Conservation/preservation of CC is paramount...IMHO)

Personally, I would use these products on great condition vehicles:
-AIO's...such as: Meg's Black Wax or White Wax; Meg's A12; Klasse AIO.
-Glazes/Polishes...such as: 3M Imperial Hand Glaze; Meg's #7

You didn't mention the LSP's you use.
-I like Meg's M26 or 3M Show Car Wax over the glazes: IHG & #7
-Klasse HGSG over KAIO

Since the condition of your cars are all great. I would add SF4000 or SF4500. These two are even more gentle than M205 and produces a greater shine on some paints.

Hey Bob how are you :)

That is correct it will be isolated areas only, have you tried the new Megs Black and white Wax yet?

For LSP, most likely BFWD or BFCS. Topped with a nuba like Fuzion, SSI, Souveran, or BFMS.

I don't think you're missing out on much if you are just doing your own car :)

Hey Bob how are you :)

Been doing fair to middlin'...Thanks for asking.

Hope all's well with you.

That's the way to do it...:props:

{CC-paint = Hard economic times = Save up; Save up; Save up.} :D

Yes I have...
IMO...The White Wax does a great "cleaning-job";
the Black Wax imbues more gloss...
even on hard-to-do-so: white/silver/yellow/etc. "colors".

Keep on ashining, my forum friend!

m205, depending on pad can cut real nice, obviously depending on your cars paint system. But for me, I can get good work done with 205 and an orange pad.

205 can be a really awesome polish as i've learned to play with it!

Just finished a detail with M205 on a 5.5"LC white flat pad followed by BFWD sealant

Great combo

I have all 3 an I really like SF4500.

If all 3 cars are in good condition and M205 is doing the job, why would he jump from a finishing polish to a compound? FG400 has more than a little more cut. I know FG400 finishes well, but why remove more clear coat then necessary?
