Hey guys,

I know there are quite a few graphic designers here that have seemed to be willing to lend a hand to fellow enthusiasts! I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to transfer my paper sketch into an electronic form... I noticed someone whipped up a logo for I AM AUTOS, and I think that came out fantastic!

I was wondering if anyone has a spare moment, if they wouldn't mind rendering a logo using the picture below for me? I'd be willing to throw a few bucks your way if a successful design is created!

I wouldn't mind if "OCDetailing" got thrown in there somewhere too with a boldish, sans serif font! Picky, I know hahah! Anyways, I'll leave this here and see if anyone wants to help!

OC Detailer and I got together over PM and tried to come up with something that might work for him. I have to deal with graphics at work occasionally and do enjoy it, so I thought it was a good chance to use that experience in another way. Comments / feedback are welcome and appreciated.

Very cool. The letter spacing is a little too much. When you look at it you have to scan the whole pic to see the words. Perhaps try just putting the "OC Detailing" in the middle

Ok I don't want you to take this as negative, because what works for some businesses does not work for others, but I see TONS of detailing logo's with outlines of a car. Maybe you should shoot for something different.

I recommend that anyone who is looking for a logo for their business, which is the FACE of your business, either pay a professional graphic designer to create one, or go to Logo Design Guru - Unlimited concepts from 40,000 designers.. There you pay the fees, and run a contest in which you will have dozens, if not hundreds of quality logo designs to choose from, then choose the winner.

If you are going to run a serious business, be serious about your logo, and make sure you are completely satisfied with it, and not just settling.

I'm not running a serious business. It's just a part time thing on weekends, mostly for people I know. I just want the logo to stick on my videos when I make them.

This is a nice design, however, the letters are too evenly spaced apart. The OC needs to be more separated from the DETAILING. At the very least, I would use upper and lower case letters as in his forum name, because it makes it so much easier to read. You could also try having the OCD in one color, and etailing in another, though that could be a bit confusing for some. I agree that all the letters are too far apart from each other.

Also, I would make the design with white, or another color, with a dark background so that the highlights appear to be highlights, rather than just a partial outline of a car.

You could even take it to the next level by making the lettering and highlights in glow in the dark color.

VP you beat me to it...Do a image google search of auto detailing logos lots of car outlines..
